Dr. Timothy Graham
Timothy Graham is a distinguished marine biologist and aquaculture executive with over three decades of experience in marine life management and sustainable food production systems. As the CEO of TOPIAN Aquaculture Company (a NEOM joint venture), he leads innovative initiatives at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and food security.
His expertise spans large-scale aquaculture operations, seafood processing, and regenerative production methods. Under his leadership, TOPIAN Aquaculture is presently scaling operations from 1,200mt to 5,000mt annually and is establishing the region's largest marine hatchery with capacity for 42 million fingerlings per year.
Throughout his career, Timothy has excelled in new product development, notably during his tenure at Clean Seas Tuna where he transformed production capabilities and introduced market-leading seafood products that dramatically increased sales from 750t to 3,500t annually. At Phillips Foods Inc., as Regional Manager for Australia, he spearheaded innovative seafood product development initiatives that expanded the company's market presence while meeting evolving consumer preferences and sustainability requirements.
Prior to joining NEOM, Timothy led groundbreaking aquaculture initiatives worldwide, including the world's first commercial tropical rock lobster hatchery and significant productivity improvements at Clean Seas Tuna, where he increased production nearly fivefold.
Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology & Zoology with Honors in Aquaculture from James Cook University, Australia, and brings valuable insights through his expertise in sustainable food production systems and supply chain optimization.
