Visit Jeddah

Air travel is the most practical option for exhibitors and visitors coming from outside Jeddah, since the venue sits only a short drive from the airport.

International attendees: King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is well connected to major hubs across the GCC, Middle East, Europe, and Asia, with direct flights operated by Saudia, Emirates, flydubai, Etihad, Qatar Airways, Air Arabia, and other regional and international carriers. Air travel is the fastest and most convenient way to reach Jeddah from abroad.

Dubai to Jeddah is a direct flight of roughly 3 hours. Emirates, flydubai, Saudia, and Air Arabia all operate multiple daily direct flights between Dubai (DXB) and Jeddah (JED), making air travel the fastest way in from the UAE and wider GCC.

From Riyadh: About a 1 hour 20 minute flight, with frequent daily departures from King Khalid International Airport (RUH) on Saudia, flynas, and flyadeal. This is the recommended route, as there is currently no direct train service between Riyadh and Jeddah.

From Dammam: Around a 2-hour flight from King Fahd International Airport (DMM), also served by Saudia, flynas, and flyadeal with several daily options. As with Riyadh, flying is currently the most efficient way in, since Dammam has no direct rail connection westward.

Airport to venue: King Abdulaziz International Airport is one of the closest major airports to its city's flagship exhibition venue — typically a 10–15 minute taxi or ride-hail journey to the Superdome, traffic permitting.

Saudi Arabia's rail network is expanding rapidly, but it's worth understanding what it does and doesn't connect today.

Haramain High-Speed Railway (HHR): This is the relevant line for Jeddah. It connects Madinah, Jeddah (city station), King Abdulaziz International Airport, King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), and Makkah, running at speeds of up to 300 km/h. If you're already in Madinah or Makkah, the HHR is a fast, comfortable way to reach Jeddah — the airport station connects directly to onward taxis and ride-hail services to the Superdome.

From Riyadh or Dammam: There is currently no direct train service to Jeddah. The SAR (Saudi Arabia Railways) network connects Riyadh and Dammam to each other (the East Train) and to the north, but the planned "Landbridge" rail line linking Riyadh and Jeddah is still under development and not yet operational. Visitors from these cities should fly to Jeddah rather than rely on rail.

Metered taxis and ride-hailing apps are a simple, flexible option for getting to the Superdome, whether you're an international visitor arriving at the airport or a local visitor coming from within the city.

• From the airport: A taxi or ride-hail to the venue takes roughly 10–15 minutes — the easiest option for international arrivals without a Saudi driving permit.
• From central Jeddah hotels: Typically 20–30 minutes depending on location and traffic.
• Available apps and services: Uber, Careem, Jeeny, and Bolt are all widely used in Jeddah and can be booked from the airport, hotels, or anywhere in the city.
• Metered taxis: Jeddah's Green Taxi service is a reliable option available at the airport and via app.
• Ride-hail apps are generally the most convenient way to book a ride in advance and track arrival times, especially during event rush hours.

For those already in Jeddah, or driving in from Makkah, Madinah, or KAEC, the Jeddah Superdome is easily accessible by road.

• From central Jeddah: Typically a 20–30 minute drive, depending on traffic and starting point.
• From Makkah: Approximately 1 hour via the Jeddah–Makkah Expressway.
• Arriving early is recommended at peak show times to avoid congestion around King Abdullah Sports City and secure convenient parking.

Parking:

The Jeddah Superdome offers ample free on-site parking for both exhibitors and visitors, along with a car valet service for added convenience during busy event days. Whether you are self-driving, using a private transfer, or a rental car, parking at the venue is straightforward, though arriving early at peak times is recommended to avoid entry queues.

For event attendees managing schedules across multiple event days, or wanting more control over timing, pre-booked private car and driver services are available from the airport, train stations, and major hotels directly to the Jeddah Superdome.

• A good option for VIP guests, group arrivals, or exhibitors travelling with equipment and display materials.
• Recognised chauffeur and private transfer providers operating in Jeddah include Blacklane, Careem Business, and GetTransfer, alongside hotel-arranged concierge transfer services — useful for both international guests unfamiliar with the city and local event attendees wanting a fixed, reliable schedule.

Self-drive rental is well supported for attendees who would like flexibility to explore Jeddah, Makkah, or Madinah before or after the show.

• International and local car rental agencies operate desks at King Abdulaziz International Airport and across the city, including Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Theeb Rent A Car (one of the largest local operators in the Kingdom).
• International attendees will need a valid international driving permit alongside their home license.
• Given the venue's ample free parking, self-drive guests will find arrival at the Jeddah Superdome straightforward on event days.

Plan ahead, during peak show days, road traffic around King Abdullah Sports City can build up, so allow extra time whether you're arriving by taxi, private transfer, rental car, or self-drive.
